The "Admin Fee" recognizes some of the costs related to compliance with federal and state laws which provide for safety, consumer protection, anti-theft measures, vehicle history checks, notifications, certifications, official filings, the Privacy Act & new Red Flag laws & compliance. Much work and expense occur even before a document is ready to be used, and there are many documents. Before vehicles can be sold, dealers must invest in personnel training to carry out legal mandates. On display at the 2011 SEMA Show Toyota exhibit will be the all-new 2012 Camry Pace Car, which will lead the field for the start of the 54th running of the Daytona 500® on February 26. It will be the first time a non-GM, Ford or Chrysler nameplate has paced the “Great American Race®.” David Reutimann, Camry Sprint Cup Driver for Michael Waltrip Racing, will be on hand to talk about the Camry Pace Car during a press conference at the SEMA Show in the Toyota exhibit on Nov. 1 at 10 a.m. Pacific Time.

U.S. Assembled Sienna Gets Exported!

November 1, 2011 – New York, NY – Toyota today announced plans to begin exporting U.S.-assembled Sienna vehicles to distributors in South Korea.
The Sienna is produced at Toyota’s manufacturing plant in Princeton, IN. A top seller in the U.S., Canada and Mexico, this is the first time the vehicle will be exported outside of North America. Shipments are scheduled to begin in early November.
Toyota began exporting U.S.-assembled vehicles in 1988. These exports increased 30% in calendar year 2010 to about 100,000 units. With the start of these shipments to South Korea, Toyota will now export U.S.-assembled vehicles to 19 countries around the world.
